Pigs

We took our pigs to the butcher in February. They were big. We figured that one pig weighed about 309 and the other pig about 270 I think. It has been awhile. It was fun trying to get them in the trailer. We had a guy up the road from us come and take them to town. He backed up his trailer and we tried to get them to go in. It took everyone to get the silly pigs into the trailer. At one time Carl was on top of one. I wish that I had taken pictures of this, but I too was helping.

We sold one half of the big pig, and one half of the little pig. We have a lot of pork in the freezer but we have enjoyed eating it. We might do it again sometime. We will see. It was a great experience for all of us.
