Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas.  Our family was so blessed.  Our friends and family blessed us more than I can ever say.  Our ward family was so wonderful to us too.  Santa brought all the children scooters.  They have been riding them around the house all winter long.  It might take Adalyn awhile to go outside and ride because the one time she did she crashed.
It was hard to be away from our family and friends but we enjoyed a quiet day together celebrating the birth of our Savior. My children thought that this was the best Christmas ever.

We decided to take the children sledding out at the sand dunes.  The hill they were sledding down was steep.  Adalyn went down it one time.  Then she decided to go down the smaller hill.  We were not out very long, but everyone had fun.

Driving

During Christmas break we decided we were going sledding.  Someone decided to take pictures of everyone in the Suburban.  I don't have a pic of James, and I don't know why.  But these are fun.

The boys had to make something for their Shakespeare class that wasn't what it appeared to be.  They decided to make a cake that looked like a meatloaf.  I have to say that it tasted good.

Decorating for Christmas

We enjoyed a day of decorating our house for Christmas.  I have to say I loved the stockings around the fireplace but they didn't last long.  I ended up hanging them in the windows.  Everyone had fun this year, and we enjoyed finding places to put everything.
